The movie ”Slumdog Millionaire” is a movie that follows the life of an Indian boy named Jamal that grows up as a Slumdog in India with his brother Salim. When their mother is killed in an attack by a group of unknown people they run away with a girl named Latika.

At first Salim didn’t want to let her join them but Jamal let her in when he thought Salim was asleep but he was awake. He seemed to be okay with it though as he did not say or do anything about it. After running around for a while they find a place that they think is safe, but when Jamal nearly was killed but got saved by Salim the once again run away. 

The boys jumps on a train but Latika gets caught by the men chasing them when Salim did not help her to get on the train and instead let her go. Jamal (not knowing that Salim let her go) gets really sad and angry that she was caught as has feelings for her.

They travel to another part of India that is full with tourists, then tries to make money out of them by stealing and selling their shoes and acting as guides. After a few years they return to save Latika and Salim shot the guy that had her captured.

Salim and Jamal starts fighting and Jamal is kick out of the empty apartment they stayed in.

Many years later Salim meets with Jamal who is still really mad at him, he asks if he knows where Latika is but Salim says shes dead, Jamal later found out he lied when he sees Latika, turns out she works for some mob boss as a maid or something he then almost runs away with her but she is caught once again.

Then he joins the show who wants to be millionare and when hes on the verge of winning the grand prize he asks to call his brother. Meanwhile Salim had let Latika go as he felt guilty and he gave Latika her phone, as she runs away Salim is shot and killed.

Latika answer the phone when Jamal calls and Jamal is really surprised that Latika answered, even though she did not know the answer to the question he still guest it right and later meets up with Latika
