Juno

In the beginning of the movie, Juno takes a pregnancy test after drinking loads of juice. The test shows that she is pregnant. At first she wants an abortion but later decides that she will give it up for adoption to a nice rich couple. She often visits the couple but Vanessa is almost never home when Juno visits, only Mark is home. They have a lot in common, they like the same music but still argue which band is the greatest. The couple separates when Mark realize that he doesn’t want to be a dad but Juno still gives the baby to Vanessa. The movie gets a happy ending anyways. Juno is a weird but happy 16 year old girl who likes rock music. She is short but brave and she stands for what she does. She is kind of a tomboy because she acts more like a guy then a typical girl.

Juno is living with her younger sister, her stepmom and her dad. Her mom is never in the movie but Juno briefly says that she left them for another family and sends her a cactus every birthday/Christmas? Her sister does not say anything in the movie, she is 5 or 6 years old. Her stepmom loves dogs and plans to get one when Juno moves out of the house, she is also very cheeky like Juno even though they are not related. Her Dad is a funny guy who often jokes about stuff. Juno has two friends. Leah who is a cheeky girl and often jokes with Juno and a smart awkward guy named Paulie Bleeker who is the father of her baby and her boyfriend at the end of the movie.

When she first found out she was pregnant she wanted an abortion then decides to give it up for adoption. She did not want to keep her child and want to give it to a nice rich couple. The father of the child Paulie doesn’t help much at all with the baby. Mark and Vanessa is the nice rich couple who wants to adopt the baby they don’t have any kids and Vanessa really wants to be a mother. Mark however feels like he isn’t ready to be father, after that they separate. So Vanessa is the only one who is taking care of the baby in the end and it seems to be going alright.

I don’t think Juno is going to stay in touch with the baby because in the movie she made it very clear that she does not want to stay in touch with the baby. She feels like it wasn’t hers in the first place. I think Juno will start a family with Paulie and have more kids when she is ready. 

The more important issue and the one thing you should learn from this movie is that you should use a condom so you don´t accidentally have a baby, unless you want to be a parent of course. They message/meaning of this movie to show teenagers why they should be more careful when having sex. This movie shows what happens if you aren’t careful. I personally did not like this movie, it was boring, weird and way longer than it should have been. But you learn stuff from it.
